For shopping in this festival, a SBI account holder need not to look at the bank account balance as the lender has announced special EMI on the spot facility on all SBI debit cards. This facility is available while paying from the SBI debit card at any Point of Sale (PoS) machine or on online shopping from Flipkart and Amazon e-commerce portals.
The State Bank of India informed about the EMI on the spot offer through its official twitter handle that says, “Let your Debit Card give you joy on-the-go and EMI on-the-spot! Know more about EMIs on SBI Debit cards today: https://sbi.co.in/web/personal-banking/e-commerce-loan.”
The SBI official website — sbi.co.in also mentions about the EMI on the spot on SBI debit cards. “Let your Debit Card give you joy on-the-go and EMI on-the-spot! With Debit Card EMI from SBI, you can conveniently convert your transactions to Easy EMIs at both POS and e-commerce portals (Flipkart & Amazon),” the SBI official website says.”
For Debit card EMI the SBI portal says, “EMI facility to pre-approved customers, for purchasing consumer durables from merchant stores by swiping their debit cards at POS,” while for online EMI the portal says, “Provides EMI facility to pre-approved customers, for purchasing consumer durables online from Flipkart & Amazon portals.” So, it is clear from both tweet and the SBI portal that one can convert one’s SBI debit card payment at any PoS machine or online shopping done on Flipkart and Amazon into easy EMI.
Benefit to SBI debit card holders
The offer will enable SBI debit card holders to do shopping in this festival 2020 season beyond their back account balance. This facility is available on offline shopping payments being done through any PoS or online shopping done on Flipkart and Amazon.
