TERMS OF SERVICE

In our previous article we have explained the official response of WhatsApp about Terms of Service. Messages are still end-to-end encrypted and nothing changes with the updated Terms of Service.
WhatsApp understands there is so much confusion around the terms, so they are officially announcing to give more time for their recent update, so people can carefully review the policy, postponing the new business options on May 15, 2021.
WhatsApp also explains on Twitter that they never planned to delete any accounts and they will not do so in the future.

So users have more time now to carefully read their terms, elaborated to give further transparency about how WhatsApp collects data when chatting with business accounts that use solution providers. In the mean time, WhatsApp will “also going to do a lot more to clear up the misinformation around how privacy and security works on WhatsApp”.
