Total Lockdown in Durg:Announcement of lockdown in the district from 6 to 14 April, waiver of emergency services; Collector’s Appeal – Stay at home, stay safe

In view of the condition of corona infection in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, the district administration has announced the total lockdown from 6 to 14 April. Emergency services will be exempt during this period. All shops, commercial establishments, factories, warehouses and weekly markets in the district will remain closed. Factories producing emergency products will be exempted. Religious, cultural and tourist places will also be closed. Traffic will also be closed. Passenger buses also will not run.

Collector appealed to common people

Durg Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure has appealed to the common citizens. It is very important to control the fast pace of transition in the district. The corona dynamics are controlled through lockdown. For this, the cooperation of the citizens is very important. Lockdowns were imposed in the district in the past. And with public support, the first wave of Corona was successful in stopping. This time too, patience is needed in the era of Kovid crisis, so that the spread of Kovid infection can be controlled. The Collector has appealed to the citizens to stay in the house, be safe. If we introduced complete restraint in lockdown like last time, then we will be able to completely avoid the seriousness of Kovid.

Vaccination will continue

The Collector has urged all citizens above the age of 45 to reach the nearest vaccination center and get the vaccine. He appealed to the people to get the corona symptoms tested as soon as they emerge. Also act on the advice of the doctor if you come positive. Get the test done even if you come in contact with a positive patient. Take full care of the isolation of positive patients. He said that this is a difficult situation in front of the district. If at this time, with complete restraint and courage, he faced this situation. So surely we will be able to protect our families and loved ones from this calamity.
