The summer season is here and so is the king of fruits – Mangoes. While we all love to hog mangoes and can’t get enough of it’s delicious taste, here are some food items that we should avoid mixing with our favourite fruit.

1/5 Curd

Eating curd immediately after eating mangoes is wrong. Eating mango and curd together makes more carbon dioxide which can cause many problems in our body.

2/5 Chillies and spicy food

Chillies and spicy food

Eating chillies and spicy food items after having mangoes can cause upset stomach and skin diseases.

3/5 Bitter Gourd

Bitter Gourd

Never combine bitter gourd and mangoes. Eating bitter gourd immediately after taking mangos  can cause problems of nausea, vomiting and trouble in breathing.

Water

Drinking water immediately after eating mangos causes stomach ache, gas and acid formation. Doing this repeatedly increases the risk of infection in the intestines, which can be quite serious. Water should be consumed at least after half an hour of eating mangoes.

Cold drink

Drinking cold drinks immediately after eating mangoes can also prove to be harmful. There is a lot of sugar in mangoes and cold drinks also have high sugar levels. This can spike up your blood sugar levels and can be very dangerous for diabetic patients.
