Telangana intermediate board exam practicals postponed for Class 12 students

The Telangana intermediate board exam practicals have been postponed for Class 12 students. They were earlier scheduled to be held from May 29.

The Telangana intermediate board exam practicals have been postponed for Class 12 students by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE). They were earlier scheduled to be held from May 29. A review will be held on the matter in the first week of June.

TSBIE Secretary Omar Jaleel had earlier said that the Telangana board exams would go on with no change in pattern for the Intermediate board exams 2021.

High-level meeting with education ministers

During the high-level meeting held with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and other education ministers from the various states of India, he had said the duration of the Telangana intermediate board exams would be reduced to 90 minutes.

He said that at the meeting, almost all the states wanted to go ahead with the board exams during Covid-19 but with vaccination for students and staff. He also said that the possibility of conducting exams from mid-July to September was also discussed.

The education ministers will be sharing the CBSE board exam 2021 format and dates on June 1 after which it is expected that most of the states will be able to make a final decision on the state board exams as well.
