32% students want only Class 12 Internal marks to be used for computing CBSE Results 2021 – Poll

CBSE Class 12 Result criteria for 2021 – The board is expected to use a weighted mean for computing Class 12 result that may include Class 10 and 11 scores as well. Here’s what students want.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 12 result 2021 criteria is expected to be released soon. While there are different reports in regards the possible formula, we conducted a poll to understand what students want. 32% of students voted for only Class 12 Internal Assessment or marks to be used for computing the CBSE Class 12 Result 2021.

There are many combinations available today. Some are suggesting a 30:30:40 break-up of Class 10, 11 and 12 marks respectively. Other reports have suggested a weight of Class 10 but not of Class 11. The actual evaluation criteria is to be submitted by CBSE to the Supreme court on June 17.

In a surprise, most of the students were ok with use of Class 10 result to standardize their score. 30.78% students voted for use of Class 10 marks, but only to about 20% weight for calculating Class 12 results. Only 26% students were agreeable for including both Class 10 and 11 marks.

Students may please note that the actual criteria would be announced by the CBSE on the official website cbse.gov.in. A 12 member panel was set up to discuss and decide on the marks criteria for class 12 examination. The board would be submitting the criteria to Supreme Court.

The poll conducted online received a over 15,000 responses. Among the options, students could choose of Class 10 marks, a combination of Class 10 and 11 marks and only Class 12 marks. Another option of only grades and no marks was also given. This option was the least favourite and received only 11% response.
