SHIMLA: For the second consecutive day, Himachal Pradesh reported more than 200 positive cases of Covid-19. While one patient succumbed to the infection, 108 patients recovered on Tuesday.
While on Monday, the state had reported 208 cases, the number went up to 220 on Tuesday. The case tally has touched 2,06,589 out of which 201628 patients have recovered, 3507 patients have died and 1,414 cases are active.
Maximum 58 cases were reported from Mandi district, followed by 48 from Chamba district, 32 from Shimla district, 26 each from Hamirpur and Kangra districts, 13 from Kullu district, seven from Bilaspur district, six from Lahaul-Spiti district and two each from Solan and Una districts. On active cases, Mandi district tops the chart with 318, followed by Chamba district at 297, Kangra district at 220, Shimla district at 204, Kullu district 96, Hamirpur district 79, Bilaspur district 53, Solan district 52, Una district 46, Lahaul-Spiti district 20, Kinnaur district 17, and Sirmaur district 12.
