A video of a baby elephant being rescued by its family has gone viral on social media with around 54,000 views.
Avideo of a baby elephant being rescued by its family has surfaced on social media and it actually depicts the compassionate nature of these gentle giants. The 49-second clip posted by @hopkinsBRFC21 has already gone viral on social media with around 54,000 views.
In the video, a baby elephant was standing near a water hole with an adult member from its family. Another elephant, in the meantime, was roaming around on the other side of the water hole. Suddenly, the baby elephant accidentally fell into the water hole.
As the calf struggled to survive, the other two elephants splashed into the water hole to rescue the baby. Slowly and steadily, both of them pushed the baby elephant towards the shallow side of the water hole. Thereafter, the baby elephant was able to walk out of the water hole with the help of its family members.
“Their quick thinking and selflessness saved the baby elephant’s life proving how compassionate elephants are,” the caption on the video reads.
