With the launch of Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro TWS earbuds, the company is expected to completely dominate the budget hearable market segment in the country and give some tough competition to the rivals like Realme and OnePlus in the audio segment. In terms of design, well, both the charging case and the earbuds look beautiful. The earphones come in a running-track-shaped case with the Redmi logo placed onto the top and a dull finish all around. You will see an indicator light at the front, and a USB Type-C port for charging at the back. Under the lid is the pairing/reset button for the earbuds. Also, the earbud weighs just 4.6g making it lighter – which is extremely good in the TWS segment. I can say that Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro earbuds are very light, extremely comfortable for ears, and it will look good on you.

In terms of specifications, Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro features the Qualcomm QCC3040 Chipset with aptX Adaptive Audio Codec. The dual-driver setup comes paired with the Qualcomm aptX adaptive audio codec for a high output music experience with minimal distortion. Qualcomm aptX adaptive is designed to deliver HD audio wirelessly over Bluetooth with an adaptive bit rate that adjusts automatically to provide seamless glitch-free audio at all moments.

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro supports the latest and advanced Bluetooth 5.2 technology for high-definition wireless audio, faster pairing, and stable connectivity along with wider compatibility. It has a low latency mode which brings the wireless latency to 86ms, reducing audio lag while gaming or streaming. For MIUI users, an automatic pop-up on the phone notifies them when the earbuds are out of the case and helps in quick pairing and connection. It also shows the battery levels of each bud and the case for a quick glance.

Coming to the listening experience and performance, the overall experience was good. I was listening to the ‘No Direction’ song by Rachael Yamagata on repeat mode and watched web series on the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro. I really liked the music while using these buds and the overall experience was decent. While taking calls or watch movies for long hours and playing games such as Garena Free Fire and Battlegrounds Mobile India, the felt that audio performance wasn’t up to the mark.
