Pangot

When at Pangot, don’t forget to go to Naina Peak, Kilbury, Snow View Point, etc, as these are the main attractions of this beautiful village. Kausani

Another delightful village of Uttarakhand is Kausani. Situated in Bageshwar district, this village can be defined as one of off-beat hill stations. People mostly visit this place from the national capital to relax during the weekends. Also, you will get the most amazing view of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli. If you want to travel on a budget, this place is just perfect as you will be covered in less than Rs 2000.

Kalap

This village sits at an altitude of 7800ft in the upper Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. With the birds chirping and wind blowing, you will feel calm and fresh. Sitting across the river in this village, River Supin you will feel utter peace.

Khirsu

There are times when one should forget about everything happening around, at least for a day, and devote those 24 hours to pamper themselves. If you are up for this, go nowhere else other than Khirsu to spend time with yourself. This village is a hill station (must visit hill stations) in Pauri Garhwal district, situated at an altitude of 1700 m. For solo travellers, this is nothing but paradise. From here, you can get a view of Nanda Devi, Nandakot, Panchchuli and Trishul peaks.

Munsiyari

Munsiyari can be simply defined as the gem of Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand for every type of traveller). Sitting at an altitude of 2298m, this village is a must-visit. If you are a fan of gazing at beautiful mountains for hours, go to Munsiyari to look at Himalayan ranges. Also, you can trek here at Namik Glacier. Don’t forget to check out thick forestry, packed with rhododendron, cedar and deodar trees.
