SSC scam: Partha Chatterjee removed as West Bengal cabinet minister

Partha Chatterjee, an accused in West Bengal SSC recruitment scam, has been relieved of his duties as Minister in Charge of his Departments with effect from July 28, said the West Bengal government.

Partha Chatterjee, arrested in the West Bengal SSC recruitment scam, has been removed as a state cabinet minister with immediate effect, stated an official order issued by the Mamata Banerjee government on Thursday.
