SGX Nifty, which indicates opening for the Indian market, was seen trading higher by more than 100 points in early trade on the Singaporean exchange on Thursday.

In the Asian market, Japanese Nikkei 225 traded higher by 1.77%, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange declined 0.20%, KSOSPI (Korea Composite Stock Price Index or KOSP) gained nearly half per cent and Chinese Shanghai Composite traded flat in the early session
Earlier, after seven negative closings, Wall Street indices Dow Jones, Nasdaq and S&P 500 ended higher by 435 points, 247 and 71 points respectively on Wednesday.
