Closing dates for Char Dhams announced; check all details here

Char Dham Yatra is now nearing its closing dates, and will soon become inaccessible for pilgrims due to winters. It is reported that the portals of Shri Gangotri Dham will be closed on October 26 at 12:01 PM, while the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be closed on October 27 at 8:30 AM.

Char Dham Yatra is now nearing its closing dates, and will soon become inaccessible for pilgrims due to winters. It is reported that the portals of Shri Gangotri Dham will be closed on October 26 at 12:01 PM, while the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be closed on October 27 at 8:30 AM.

Further, portals of Shri Yamunotri Dham will also be closed on October 27 at Abhijit Muhurta in the afternoon, and the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 19 at 3:35 PM. The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 19 at 3:35 PM, while the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be closed on October 27 at 8.30 AM on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj.
Also, do note that the doors of Hemkund Sahib and Lokpal Tirth will be closed from October 10 ahead of the winter season.

Then, the portals of second Kedar Madmaheshwar will be closed on November 18, and the Madmaheshwar fair will be organised in Ukhimath on November 21. Also, the portals of the third Kedar Tungnath will be closed on November 7.

If reports are to go by, since the opening of the doors of these pilgrimage sites in April-May this year, a huge number of devotees made it to the Char Dham so far. Reportedly, a total of 14,53,549 pilgrims visited Shri Badrinath Dham, 1339477 pilgrims to Kedarnath, 458701 pilgrims to Yamunotri, and 483096 pilgrims to Gangotri Dham.

Also, the number of pilgrims reaching Uttarakhand Chardham touched 38,34,823, and 2.25 lakh pilgrims visited Hemkund Sahib.
