Gujarat Election 2022: Check the quick steps to know your name in Gujarat assembly election voter list-A person having a voter identity card (ID) is not enough to be eligible for casting a franchise in an election in the country. To ensure that you can vote, you are required to check your name in the voter list or the electoral roll.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has made the task possible for voter to check their name online. Here are the few steps by which you can check their name in the electoral roll.
1. First visit the National Voters Service portal at https://electoralsearch.in/
2. After opening the website, there are two methods to check the name. First by ‘Search by details’ and second is Electors Photo Identification Card (EPIC number)
3. In the Search by detail option, fill your details including your name, age, state, district, gender, assembly constituency and father’s/husband’s name.
4. The database search will then reveal the available information.
5. In the second option, you can search your name by using your EPIC number in the search box.
6. For this search option, use your EPIC number, state, and fill the code.
