DBS launches Vantage credit card in India with zero mark up for spends in Singapore

Mumbai: DBS Bank has launched its super-premium Vantage credit card in India to offer personalized experiences for high-net-worth customers. The DBS Vantage Card leverages the bank’s strong ties to Singapore and offers zero percent mark-up on spending in Singapore and exclusive discounts at select merchants in the country.

The DBS Vantage card, an invite-only credit card, is the first in a series of credit cards from DBS Bank India’s proprietary card portfolio, which are set to be launched this year.

The metal design, DBS Vantage Card provides luxury hotel memberships through partners like Taj Epicure, ITC Culinaire, or Club Marriott. For those who travel globally, the card offers low fees on international transactions and unlimited access to airport lounges, accompanied by a 24-hour Visa concierge service. Eligibility for the DBS Vantage Card is based on the applicant’s existing relationship with the bank and credit history.

Additionally, the card provides a 24-hour dedicated concierge service for travel, lifestyle, medical, and auto-related assistance. It also offers a unique duty-free offering with 10% cashback, up to Rs 1,500 per month.

Prashant Joshi, Managing Director & Head – Consumer Banking Group at DBS Bank India, expressed the significance of the DBS Vantage Card’s launch, stating that it will become one of the most sought-after proprietary cards, enabling customers to “Live more, Bank Less.”

Sajish Pillai, Managing Director, Head of Assets and Strategic Alliances at DBS Bank India, said the card strengthens the bank’s ability to provide affluent consumers with an exceptional banking experience characterized by convenience, choice, and exclusive offerings.

The DBS Vantage Card offers special access to dining and stay experiences at 5-star hotels, and cardholders will receive a welcome bonus of 10,000 Vantage Points (worth Rs 10,000) with their first transaction.

While the card is invite-only, customers can check their eligibility on the DBS India website or reach out to the bank’s relationship managers for more information. In addition to the welcome bonus, the DBS Vantage Card provides extra rewards based on spending thresholds, allowing cardholders to earn additional bonus points.
