Be it the plot of the film, Vivek’s unimpressed looks as PM Modi or releasing everything in haste, the makers doesn’t seem to stop surprising the movie-goers, till the film hit the screens on April 5.

The trailer of the PM Narendra Modi biopic has been released and the internet has now got the idea of what the makers are actually cooking during the election time.

Putting one more question mark in the audience’s minds for sharing everything so fast, the team has also unveiled the first song of the biopic, titled Saugandh Mujhe Iss Mitti Ki.

In the tweet shared by the director Omung Kumar B, Vivek can be seen as Narendra Modi chanting Ye Desh Nahin Mitne Dunga in the song.

Apart from this, producer Sandip Ssingh has also revealed that he has lent his voice to a rap track in the film. He has sung Namo Namo, which has a rap by Party G.

“This film is very close to my heart and I wanted to give it a personal touch. What could have been better then singing a rap song for the person we all admire. It’s a very interesting song and I hope people like it,” Sandip said in a statement to IANS.

Helmed by the filmmaker Omung Kumar, the biopic has also landed itself in another controversy which includes the veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. According to the reports, Javed has slammed the makers for giving him the credits in PM Modi biopic.

Akhtar was shocked to see his name under the ‘lyrics’ heading in the poster. According to the lyricist, he has not written any songs in the upcoming biopic. However, the makers have cleared the air about the same.

Reacting on it, producer Sandip Ssingh took to Twitter and wrote, “We have taken the songs Ishwar Allah from the film 1947:Earth and the song Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walon from the film Dus in our film, thus we have given the due credits to respective lyricists Javed Sahab and Sameer Ji.

Javed Akhtar’s wife and legendary actress Shabana Azmi has also expressed opinion supporting her husband and said that the makers have deliberately included his name in the credits to “mislead” the audience.

PM Narendra Modi biopic is slated to release on April 5. For the unversed, the release date was changed from April 12 to the former (a week before).

Actor Vivek Anand Oberoi is playing the title role of Narendra Modi. It also stars Boman Irani, Rajendra Gupta, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab and Manoj Joshi.
