The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drug bust case on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship.

NCB is questioning Aryan Khan in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday night after officials raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges and has not been arrested so far, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB.

The NCB has also summoned six of the organisers who had planned the cruise party. Kashiff Khan, managing director of FTV India, is also under scanner and NCB has reached out to him. The event was organised under the supervision of Kashiff Khan.

NCB sources said Aryan Khan’s phone has been seized and is being scanned by the authorities to check for any indication of his involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs. The narcotics bureau is investigating the chats received on the phones that have been seized from the drug bust.

Aryan Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son. The couple also have a daughter, Suhana Khan, and another son, AbRam.

Three girls who had arrived from Delhi to join the cruise party were also detained and are being questioned. These include the daughters of some prominent businessmen.

WHAT HAS THE NCB SAID ON RECOVERY OF DRUGS?

In a statement, NCB said drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, mephedrone and charas were recovered from the cruise and a case had been registered. The agency said eight people, including two women, were apprehended and their role was being investigated.

“On the basis of specific information, the officials of NCB, Mumbai, conducted a raid on the Cordelia cruise that was bound from Mumbai to Goa on October 2. HOW WAS THE RAVE PARTY BUSTED?

On Saturday night, the NCB raided a cruise ship in Mumbai that was departing for a three-day ‘musical voyage’ with people from Bollywood, fashion and the business sectors. Sources said the raid was conducted following a tip-off that banned drugs were being used.

The NCB officials, led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede, boarded the ship disguised as passengers on Saturday. The rave party began once the cruise left the coast of Mumbai and reached mid-sea.
