The Asian Markets traded in the negative on Wednesday. Hang Sang Index at Hong Kong Exchange was down over 200 points or 0.85% at 24,894, China’s Shanghai Composite Index traded flat with negative bias at 3500, while Japanese Nikkei 225 index remained closed on Wednesday.
Earlier, all major Wall Street indices closed on record highs for the third straight session on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 138.79 points to 36,052.63 to close at a record. The S&P 500 added 0.3% to 4,630.65, closing at an all-time high Nasdaq Composite rose 0.3% to 15,649.60.
