Both gold and silver prices are retailing on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, May 5. Friday, April 29.
Witnessing a marginal hike of Rs 650 or 1.28 per cent, gold futures maturing on June 3, 2022, are trading at Rs 51,320 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, silver futures maturing on July 5, 2022, are retailing at Rs 64,211 per kg, recording a jump of Rs 1749 or 2.82 per cent.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 50,610 per 10 grams and Rs 62,114 per kg respectively when the market closed on May 4.
