Xiaomi has refreshed its smart band portfolio globally with Xiaomi Smart Band 7. The fitness band succeeds the Mi Smart Band 6 from last year, though the design appears to be more or less the same. The company continues to expand the viewing area on the screen, and this year, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 gets a 1.62-inch AMOLED display. It basically offers 25 per cent increased visibility compared to the previous generation model. The new Xiaomi fitness band will likely launch in India soon, though official details remain unclear.
Xiaomi Smart Band 7 price
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will retail in select global markets in the initial phase, and it carries a price tag of EUR 49.9, which is roughly Rs 4.100. Currently, the Mi Smart Band 6 is available in India for Rs 3,499. The new band gets four colour options – orange, black, neon green, and blue. The pill-shaped body still retains a black finish.
The company is yet to share India-specific availability details, though we can expect the launch to happen soon. The company may introduce the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 in the country alongside the latest Xiaomi 12 series phones.
Xiaomi has also introduced a Xiaomi Book S 12.4 2-in-1 laptop for EUR 699 (roughly Rs 57,400).
Xiaomi Smart Band 7 specifications
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 features an all-new VO2 max professional workout analysis, which measures the maximum amount of oxygen users can utilise during exercise. Xiaomi Smart Band 7 also provides sleep tracking, as well as SpO2 and heart-rate monitoring.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 comes with a 1.62-inch AMOLED touch display, and customers can choose between over 100 watch faces. It also gets a 5ATM build for protection against dust and water resistance. Users can enjoy five auto-detection fitness models, like outdoor running, walking, treadmill, rowing machine, and elliptical.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 works with both Android smartphones and iPhones, and users can use Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. Users can manage the device and check fitness metrics with the Mi Fitness app. The fitness band is touted to deliver 14 days of battery with standard usage. The package will include the magnetic charger, which separately costs Rs 299 (Mi Smart Band 6).
