IndiGo Announces ‘Sweet 16’ Anniversary Discount Sale. Details Here

IndiGo Sweet 16 Sale: The discounted fares will be applicable for travel between August 18, 2022, till July 16, 2023.

On August 3, IndiGo airline launched a ‘Sweet 16′ Anniversary sale for all its consumers flying on domestic routes. The offer is to commemorate 16 years of flying by the airline. As per the offer, fares will start ₹ 1,616.

The sale will be live for three days, from August 3 to 5, 2022. The discounted fares will be applicable for travel between August 18, 2022, till July 16, 2023.

The airline also shared the news of the offers on its official Twitter handle.

“Our #Sweet16 is here and we’ve got a sweet deal for you. Book your flights with fares starting at ₹1,616*. Don’t wait up, offer only valid till 5th August, 2022 for travel between 18th August, 2022 and 16th July, 2023,” tweeted the airline.

On its website, IndiGo mentioned, “The Offer is valid for bookings made during the Offer Period for flights at least 15 (Fifteen) days prior to the date of departure, provided that the date of travel is no earlier than Aug 18, 2022, and no later than July 16, 2023.”

An IndiGo press release quoted Sanjay Kumar, the chief strategy and revenue officer of the airline, as saying, “As we see high demand for travel, this sale will enable passengers’ plan their travel in advance, with fares starting at ₹ 1,616.”

The airline has launched a 25 percent cashback offer on Ka-ching cards as 6E rewards up to 1,000 reward points. Customers can also use their HSBC credit cards to make their bookings and receive a 5 percent cashback offer up to ₹ 800 on transactions with a minimum value of ₹ 3,500. This promotion is valid on the Mweb, Mobile, and the IndiGo website.

With a fleet of over 280 aircraft, IndiGo connects 74 domestic and 25 foreign destinations with more than 1,600 flights per day.

Although IndiGo withheld the precise number of seats offered by the promotion, it did note that limited inventory was available through the promotion and that only a small number of seats would be made available at the airline’s discretion.
