In 1839, the daguerreotype was officially endorsed by the French Academy of Sciences.

The theme for #WorldPhotographyDay2022 is “Pandemic Lockdown through the lens,” the Department of Information and Public Relations, Kargil Ladakh tweeted on Friday morning.
