The Indian markets ended around half per cent lower on Thursday, however, cues from Asian and global markets were positive for the domestic market on Friday. SGX Nifty jumped 100 points in the early trade, while the US market extended gains and closed strongly. Likewise, major Asian indices traded firm on Friday morning. Japanese Nikkei 225 gained almost one per cent, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong exchanges rose more than one per cent and Chinese Shanghai Composite was trading higher by 0.33%.
