Travelling by train? Know how to order food via WhatsApp using PNR number

Isn’t it fun to travel by train and order the food of your choice? Therefore, Zoop India is providing a food delivery service which is a WhatsApp-enabled food ordering platform that has cuisines like veg thali, veg/ chicken biriyani with raita, standard/Jain special thali etc. The food will be from selected restaurants booked through the PNR number.

The food delivery service, Zoop, is tied up with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC), which allows its users to order food via the WhatsApp chatbot service.

The Zoop app partnered with IRCTC and Jio Haptik provides service on the WhatsApp chatbot. The Whatsapp chat will use the PNR numbers to place food orders and get them delivered to their seats.

The service is an internet-based service that allows passengers to book food of their choice through a mobile application while travelling on a train.

This initiative will bring an upgraded, professional version of catering and hospitality service on trains, stations and locations prior to the train stoppages. This will promote domestic and international tourism.

IRCTC has come up with various services like Chardham yatra connecting all the Dhams from various cities with different packages. This Whatsapp chatbot service gets your food just by following a few steps.

STEPS TO ORDER FOOD ON INDIAN RAILWAYS THROUGH WHATSAPP:

Step 1: The person travelling by train can chat with Zoop on Whatsapp with the number ’91-7042062070.’

Step 2: Open the chat and say ‘Hi’ on the Whatsapp chat window.

Step 3: Then a message pops with a button to select options.

Step 4: Click on the Order Food option.

Step 5: Then you will be asked to enter the PNR number. Then select the search by station or search by train option and provide the necessary details needed.
