The idol of Goddess Durga too is in the shape of a coin, which they feel that the government should make a commemorative coin of Goddess Durga to celebrate UNESCO’S heritage tag.

“The Goddess will be in the shape of a huge coin herself. She will not be immersed on Dashami but she, along with all the other coin structures, will be kept in the Alipore Jail museum for public showcase” said the theme maker.
