The Election Commission on Thursday announced the schedule for assembly election in Gujarat. The state, where the BJP is currently in power, goes to the hustings on December 1.
Assembly polls in Gujarat will be held in two phases. Counting of votes will take place on December 8.
The first phase of polling will take place on December 1, followed by the second phase of polling on December 5.
