PM Kisan scheme: These farmers have to return instalment amount. Details here

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana or PM Kisan is a central sector scheme with 100 percent funding from the Government of India. The fund, divided into three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each, gets directly transferred to the bank accounts of all the beneficiaries. But the government has laid down some conditions which make certain categories of people ineligible for the scheme. The beneficiaries who have been found ineligible for paying income tax or for other reasons must return the amount received so far to the government.

According to the DBT Agriculture Bihar website, “Beneficiaries who have been declared ineligible by the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for paying income tax or for other reasons, the farmer has to compulsorily return the amount received so far under the scheme to the Government of India.”
