Gold, Silver Prices Today: The price of gold declined while silver was trading in the green on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday i.e. March 1, 2023.
Gold futures, slated to expire on April 5, fell by Rs 86 or 86 percent to trade at Rs 55,670 per 10 grams on the MCX at around 9.48 am.
Silver futures, maturing on May 4, surged by Rs 157 or 0.24 percent to Rs 64,780 per kg, according to MCX.
The yellow metal was at Rs 55,756 per 10 grams in the previous trade while silver ended at Rs 64,623 per kg when the market closed yesterday i.e. on Monday (February 28).

International Gold, Silver Prices
Gold traded on the higher side for the third session on Wednesday as the dollar pulled back. Spot gold was up 0.1% at $1,829.37 per ounce, as of 0315 GMT. U.S. gold futures eased 0.1% to $1,835.30.
Spot silver added 0.7% to $21.06 per ounce, platinum rose 0.3% to $954.75 and palladium gained 1.3% to $1,434.86.
