EPF Passbook password change, EPF Passbook password reset link: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) assists the central board in administering compulsory contributory Provident Fund Scheme (PF), Pension scheme and insurance scheme for the employees engaged in the organised sector in India. EPFO maintains 24.77 crore accounts pertaining to its members as per an annual report for 2019-20. An EPFO member can even check the EPF Passbook balance using the EPF Passbook password by logging in at the EPFO’s official website – epfindia.gov.in.

However, what if an EPFO subscriber forgets his password?

EPFO members who are struggling to remember one’s EPF Passbook Password should visit the official EPFO website to reset their EPF passbook password.

Here is your step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Visit the official websitel at epfindia.gov.in or at unified portal — mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/;

Step 2: Click on ‘Forget password’. Enter the respective UAN number followed by verify button.

Step 3: One will be able to see the respective registered mobile number.

Step 4: Enter the details such as name, date of birth, gender, KYC type, and document number

Step 5: Click on verify button.

Step 6: Once the details are verified, he/she will receive an OTP on the mobile number.

Step 7: Create a new password; enter it twice.

Step 8: Once the password is changed, click on the Login button to log in with the updated password.
