Nothing Phone 2 price in India leaked, here is all we know so far ahead of July 11 launch

The Nothing Phone (2) will launch early next week and tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming to have obtained the price of the upcoming 5G phone. While some of the key specifications and design have been officially confirmed by the company, the tipster has suggested the price of the next-generation Nothing phone could start from under Rs 45,000. Here is everything we know so far.

Nothing Phone (2): Leaked India price

Tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming on Twitter that the Nothing Phone 2 could come with a starting price of Rs 42,000 or Rs 43,000 in India. But, this is not the official price as the details regarding the same will be revealed on July 11. Hence, users are advised to take this price leak as a rumour. But, if the company actually offers the device at the same prices, then the new Nothing phone will be seen competing with Pixel 7a and OnePlus 11R. As far as our analysis goes based on the confirmed specs, the starting price of the next Nothing phone could fall between Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000. We will have to wait for a few more days to get clarity on the pricing part.  

It is important to highlight that the Nothing Phone (2) recently went up for pre-order. Though, all the pre-order passes have now gone out of stock. The device will go on sale through Flipkart.

The Nothing Phone 2 is confirmed to pack a larger 6.7-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution. It will likely use an OLED panel, similar to its predecessor. The screen is expected to refresh at 120Hz, as per leaks. It will run on Android 13-based Nothing OS 2.0 out-of-the-box. The new Nothing phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is something that the company officially announced. Additionally, it will receive 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates, which is just great.

The company is yet to confirm the camera specs. The leaks claim that we could see a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor at the back, with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It could be backed by a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there might be a 32-megapixel front camera.

Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (2) will have a 4,700mAh battery. Though, there is no information on fast charging yet. The tipster claims that the new version retains support for 33W wired fast charging tech and comes with 15W wireless charging support. It is also rumored to have an IP rating for water and dust resistance, although specific details are currently unknown. In terms of biometrics, the Nothing Phone 2 is reported to feature an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
