The Nothing Phone (2) has finally launched in India with a starting price of Rs 44,999. But, consumers can buy this new 5G phone at a pretty low price via Flipkart. The first sale of the next-generation Nothing phone will take place on July 21, which is next week. Here are five things you need to know about the latest Nothing Phone (2) and launch offers before the sale event.

Nothing Phone (2) first sale on July 21: Price in India, launch offers

The Nothing Phone (2) has been announced in India for Rs 44,999, but consumers can buy it at a discounted price. It will effectively be available for Rs 41,999 via Flipkart if you make payments using Axis Bank and HDFC Bank cards. This basically means that users are getting a big discount of Rs 3,000, making the deal attractive. The mentioned price is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB variant of the new Nothing phone will cost you Rs 49,999, but the bank offer will down the price to Rs 46,999.

-The Nothing Phone (2) features a flagship-grade chipset under the hood. It is using last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is fast and powered many expensive phones in the recent past.

-The 5G phone has long-term software support. Nothing has confirmed that the latest Phone (2) smartphone will get three years of major Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. The device is currently running on Android 13 OS out of the box. Google is yet to release Android 14 OS, and so, the Nothing phone is running the latest Android operating system.

-It packs a 4,700mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging, 15W Qi wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charge. However, the company doesn’t ship a charger along with the phone in the retail box. Hence, one will have to spend extra to buy one.

-The Nothing Phone (2) has a unique semi-transparent design and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display. This one has an LTPO panel, meaning the refresh rate automatically gets adjusted between 1Hz and 120Hz. The LED strips at the back lit up, which is pretty cool. Users get more options to customize it for notifications and other functions in the phone.

-There is a dual rear camera setup at the back, including a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor. It has support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS) for smoother videos. The setup also packs a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/2.76-inch Samsung JN1 sensor with EIS. It is capable of capturing 4K content. The front has a 32-megapixel camera.
