HDFC Bank partners Shopse for instant digital loans

Mumbai: HDFC Bank has partnered with a fintech Shopse to offer end-to-end digital consumer loans – ‘Cardless EasyEMI’.

The ‘Cardless EasyEMI’ program enables customers to pay later without physical documents or assistance. Through a simple QR code scan at participating ShopSe or bank merchant, customers can convert their purchases into EMIs. This integration with brands and merchants will enable all customers to access credit in under 5 minutes.

Existing HDFC Bank customers will get pre-approved offers, and new customers can access instant consumer durable loans up to Rs 60,000 for a 12-month tenure, using their PAN card and mobile number as identification.

HDFC Bank’s Parag Rao said that the partnership with fintech was aimed at customer experience and convenience to get loans `on the go’.

“Cardless EasyEMI is one such hassle-free digital finance option with HDFC Bank, which can be completely done end-to-end by any customer,” said Pallav Jain, CEO of ShopSe India.
