The story of ‘Ramayan‘ which was broadcast on Doordarshan in 1983 is still fresh in the mind of millions of Indians and when this serial was re-telecasted during the COVID-19 lockdown, it was loved by people across the country.

‘Ramayana’ was telecasted in the 80s and each and every character of this popular serial became God for the audience. Arun Govil played the role of Lord Ram in Ramayana, while Deepika Chikhalia played the role of Sita. Many actors of this serial are still active in the entertainment, but there was one such actor in Ramayana, who is now completely away from the world of acting.

Actually, in Ramayan, the story of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita’s sons Luv and Kush was also shown. After Ramayan, Uttar Ramayana was also telecast on TV, in which the story of Luv and Kush was taken forward. While the character of Kush was played by Swapnil Joshi in the serial, Mayuresh Kshetramade was seen in the role of Luv.

After this serial, Swapnil continued his acting journey and was seen as Shri Krishna in a serial. Swapnil Joshi is now a well-known name of Marathi cinema. On the other hand, Mayuresh Kshetramade, who was seen in the role of Luv, distanced himself from the world of film and TV. After quitting acting, Mayuresh tried his hand in business and became successful.

After quitting acting, Mayuresh shifted his focus towards studies and later worked with many big companies. Today, Mayuresh is the CEO of Commission Junction Affiliate and is settled in the US with his family. Mayuresh has now become a successful businessman and his net worth is reportedly in crores.

According to reports, CJ Affiliate’s revenue is USD 170 million. Mayuresh has also written a book named Spite and Development.
