‘Vistara Expands Wings’: Kathmandu-Delhi-Hong Kong Flight To Begin From Nov 1

New Delhi: In its bid to expand operations, Vistara will soon start a Kathmandu-Delhi-Hong Kong two-way flight service from November 1.

With this, Hong Kong will be added to the privately run airlines’ worldwide network. Vistara has added Hong Kong to its global flight network from November 1, the company informed in a press statement.

The jointly owned airline by TATA Sons and Singapore Airlines is planning to deploy A320 narrow-body aircraft for this route, news agency PTI reported.

According to the press statement, passengers can conveniently book tickets through mobile apps, websites, and travel agencies. Vistara has been flying between Kathmandu and Delhi since February 13.

“Vistara is scheduled to start Kathmandu-Delhi-Hong Kong two-way flight from November 1,” Prasanna Adhikari, Executive Officer, Tata SIA Airlines Limited in Nepal, told PTI.

“This air service will be beneficial for travellers who want to travel from Kathmandu to Hong Kong via Delhi and Hong Kong to Kathmandu via Delhi,” the executive official said.

Offering passengers a secure and comfortable aviation experience is the airline’s primary goal, the official added. Adhikari confirmed to the news agency that from November 1 onward, there will be daily flights between Delhi and Hong Kong.

The 61-aircraft Vistara fleet, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, currently consists of 46 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321 and 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Also referred to as Tata SIA Airlines Limited, the airline has been making frequent flights to 30 different places throughout the globe.
