According to media reports, the Karnataka State Government has decided to cover the electricity charges, including the Fuel Price and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment (FPPCA) charges, for beneficiaries of the Gruha Jyoti Scheme in Bangalore. This move is aimed at providing relief to specific consumers in the city.

For the convenience of Bangalore residents, various online methods are available to pay their electricity bills to BESCOM. According to report from the Magicbricks website, these methods can be accessed via the BESCOM website and a mobile application designed for Android users.

On both the BESCOM website and the mobile app, consumers can access the following services:

Pay Electricity Bill Online (Bescom Bill Payment): This allows consumers to conveniently settle their electricity bills from the comfort of their homes.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to pay your electricity bill in Bangalore using the BESCOM website:

Step 1: Visit the official website of BESCOM.

Step 2: Under the “Online Services” section, click on “Online Payment.”

Step 3: Select “Online Electricity Bill Payment RAPDRP Town (Bescom Bill Payment).”

Step 4: If you haven’t registered already, complete the registration process by providing your customer ID and account number.

Step 5: The bill details will be displayed on the screen. Agree to the terms and conditions and click on “Make Payment.”

Step 6: Choose your preferred mode of payment, which includes options like credit card, debit card, net banking, phone wallet, or UPI.
