Tecno Phantom V Flip is part of the series which got a fold version earlier this year at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona.
Tecno is probably the last brand you would assume to launch innovative products but as the company has shown earlier with its fold device, now it has announced the Flip version. The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G has been unveiled as the most affordable flip phone Indians can buy in the market. The launch price is going to be part of the limited-period offer but even then it is good to see the foldable market slowly expanding to the lower price points. Tecno is using a MediaTek chip to power the device which has a unique external screen.

TECNO PHANTOM V FLIP PRICE IN INDIA
Tecno has launched its Phantom V Flip in India at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. This is an early bird price which means the price will be revised in the coming weeks. The flip phone will be available on October 1 in the country. At this price, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 these days but that is after heavy discounts offered by retailers.

TECNO PHANTOM V FLIP FEATURES
The Phantom V Flip gets a 6.9-inch flexible AMOLED screen with support for Full HD+ resolution. You have a 1.32-inch outer screen with an AMOLED panel and an Always-On Display feature. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset with 8GB RAM that is expandable virtually up to 16GB. You get the phone with 256GB storage. Tecno says the flip mechanism will keep the screen creaseless even after 200,000 flips which is more the Moto Razr 40 Ulta managed during recent tests.

Tecno is giving Android 13-based UI on the device and promises the flip phone will get 2 OS updates and three years of security updates. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 45W fast-charging speed. The V Flip has a 64MP primary rear camera with a 13MP wide-angle lens. The front of the phone has a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Bluetooth for connectivity.
