Good News for Wipro Employees! IT Major to Roll out Salary Hikes from THIS Month; BONANZA for Top Performers

Wipro Appraisal 2023: IT major Wipro is reportedly planning to roll out salary hikes in the October-December quarter as against September last year.

The Times of India (TOI), quoting sources cited, Wipro salary hikes in 2023 could be in the range of six to eight per cent.

And, the top performers in Wipro could also get a double-digit hike in Wipro salary hikes 2023 cycle. Times Now could not independently verify the details of the report.

On the salary hike, the company said, as quoted by TOI, “At the Q1FY24 press conference, Wipro informed that the salary increase would be announced in the third quarter of the financial year. We will not comment on rumours and speculation.”

Salary hikes in IT companies so far

Till date, among the large IT companies in India, TCS has given a salary hike of 6 per cent to 8 per cent on an average. This is the same same as the year before while the top performers got double-digit hikes.

Infosys normally announces hikes in June/July, and the salary hike comes into effect from April. But it has not rolled out increments yet. However, media reports stated that the tech major has told its employees that it will commence the ‘performance review cycle– October 2023’ with the self-evaluation scheduled to be held on September 29. Manager evaluation will take place by the end of October while rating will be communicated to employees on December 1.

Coforge, Persistent Systems and LTI Mindtree are among the midcap IT firms that have rolled out salary hikes.
