Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday are set to appear on Koffee With Karan 8 together, News18 Showsha has learned exclusively. Karan Johar recently announced his return for the 8th season of Koffee With Karan. Be it controversial confessions to manifesting relationships, the show has always been in the buzz. Now, with the new season premiering on Disney+ Hotstar on October 26, the filmmaker dropped a promo brainstorming over the guest list. In the promo, Karan’s Konscience calls him and asks about his plans, Johar shares that he is preparing for the new guest list. We have found out a few names that are on the guest list.

Last week News18 Showsha exclusively revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor will be seen in Koffee With Karan 8 to promote their debut vehicle, The Archies. It was also reported that the other cast members of The Archies – Dot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda – might also join the trio in the episode.

We now hear that Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan will be seen gracing the couch together for the first time. A source reveals, “Sara and Ananya have recently shot for the episode at YRF studio, in Mumbai. Interestingly, this is the first time the two came together for any event and they had fun shooting for their episode. There was discussion about their careers, the experience of being born in families with a film lineage, and also their love life even dropping a few truth bombs.”
In the last season of Koffee With Karan, Sara appeared on the show with Janhvi Kapoor and both the actors expressed their love for Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda. The Telugu star was tagged as ‘cheese’ in banter.

Later in the same season, Ananya graced the show with his Liger co-star. Johar had asked Vijay if he likes ‘cheese’, referring to Janhvi and Sara’s episode. A skeptical Vijay confessed, “I am scared about where this is leading.” Ananya was seen interjecting as she mentioned, “Can I say that I’d like to be on the same platter,” indirectly stating that she too would like to date Vijay Deverakonda.
It is also speculated that Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt could appear together on Koffee With Karan 8. It is also rumoured that actor-director duo Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn and Bollywood’s popular couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have shot their episodes.
