There has been a growing demand for integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the educational landscape in India, fundamentally transforming traditional teaching methods and delivering a multitude of advantages to both students and educators. AI has the potential to decrease the administrative burden on educators in India by as much as 45%, leading to enhanced overall productivity and job satisfaction among them, according to a NASSCOM report. Approximately 2.2% of the Indian population experienceone or more disabilities, as reported by the National Statistical Office. “The importance of AI-powered accessibility solutions cannot be overstated. These solutions play a pivotal role in guaranteeing equal access to education for everyone,” Mishra said.

Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, is believed to be revolutionising the dissemination of educational materials in India. Through the utilisation of data and predictive algorithms, ML is enhancing the flexibility, engagement and efficiency of education.
