Ferrari Launched ‘Limited-Series’ 499P Modificata Racer Car, Details inside

Ferrari has unveiled the 499P Modificata sports prototype car for selected customers. The car is reserved only for non-competitive use.

Ferrari has finally unveiled one of its most-anticipated Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P Modificata sports prototype cars at the recently held Ferrari World Finals at the Mugello Circuit.

The limited series non-competitive track use model is a modified version of the 499P that won in the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June this year. Now this unveiling comes as a part of the celebration of the company’s historic return to endurance racing in the ongoing season.

The Ferrari 499P Modificata car has been priced at around 5.1 million euros (approximately Rs 44 crore).

The car has been strictly reserved for non-competitive use by “gentleman drivers”, and thus will be only sold to selective customers.

Customers will also have the access for 2 years and will be also able to take part in a few racing events organised by the Ferrari itself. In case the customer wants to use a specific racetrack of his/her own choice, an additional fee will be charged based on which they will also get access to the firm’s F1 maintenance team.

FERRARI 499P MODIFICATA: FEATURES

The Ferrari 499P Modificata features an F-1-derived electric motor along with a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis and an F1-style pushrod suspension, which according to the company has been “designed to maximise driving thrills and ensure that the car behaves predictably in all conditions.”

Ferrari Launched ‘Limited-Series’ 499P Modificata Racer Car.

The car includes a mid-rear mounted 3.0-litre V6 hybrid which will help to power the 499P. The engine has been further tuned to produce a combined 707 bhp.

Among other features, the latest vehicle comes with a sleek LED light bar on both ends with a large carbon fibre spoiler. It also comes with large carbon fibre ducts and it also gets air intake that will extend to the length of the rear glass house. Inside, the vehicle comes with fixed bucket seats, a digital rear camera, a racing steering wheel, and an adjustable pedal track.

Along with this, Ferrari has also offered an additional 81 bhp for seven seconds at a time, after the driver presses a red “push to pass” button mounted behind the steering wheel.
