For the convenience of rail passengers in the wake of the upcoming festive season, Indian Railways has decided to run Gati Shakti Special trains. These Special trains will operate on various routes including New Delhi-Patna Junction, Anand Vihar Terminal – Varanasi and more. The move will clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festival.

List of Gati Shakti Superfast Special trains:-

New Delhi-Patna Junction Gati Shakti Superfast Special train

• Timing: The train number 02246 New Delhi-Patna Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will commence its journey from the national capital on November 10 at 23:45 hrs. It will reach Patna Junction at 15:50 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, the train number 02245 Patna Junction-New Delhi Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will depart from Patna Junction at 19:00 hrs on November 11 and will arrive in the national capital at 10:30 hrs, the next day.

• Frequency: The train will run on selected six days in both directions. From New Delhi, the train will operate on November 10, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17. From Patna Junction, the train will run on November 11,12,15,16,17 and 18.
• Coach Composition and Stoppages: The train will have AC Economy coaches. During its journey, the Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will stop at six stations. These are – Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara and Danapur railway stations.

Anand Vihar Terminal-Lucknow-Anand Vihar Terminal Gati Shakti Special train

• Timing: The train number 04494 Anand Vihar Terminal-Lucknow Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 08.30 hrs o­n November 10 to arrive at Lucknow at 18:00 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, the train number 04493 Lucknow-Anand Vihar Terminal Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will depart from Lucknow at 08.45 hrs o­n November 12 to arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 18:15 hrs, the same day.
• Coach Composition and Stoppages: Having economy AC coaches, the train number 04494/04493 Anand Vihar Terminal-Lucknow – Anand Vihar Terminal Gati Shakti Special will stop at Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur and Hardoi stations enroute in both the directions.

Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal -Varanasi Gati Shakti Special train

• Timing: The train number 04498 Anand Vihar Terminal-Varanasi Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 08.30 hrs o­n November 11 to arrive at Varanasi at 23:30 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, the train number 04497 Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal Gati Shakti Superfast Special train, will depart from Varanasi at 04:00 hrs o­n November 12 to arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 19:10 hrs, the same day.
• Coach composition and Frequency: Having economy AC coaches, the train number 04498/04497 Anand Vihar Terminal-Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal Gati Shakti Special will stop at Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Sultanpur and Jaunpur City stations enroute in both the directions.
