The government-owned firm’s board meeting will be held on Wednesday, 29th November 2023 where it is likely to approve the interim dividend to its shareholders for the current fiscal. The board will also fix the record date on the same day.

The company in a regulatory filing, said “This is to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors would be held on Wednesday, 29th November 2023, to consider the proposal of declaration of interim dividend for the Financial Year 2023-24 and fixation of Record date.”

BPCL Q2 Results

The PSU firm reported returning to profitability in the September quarter after a boost in marketing margin improved earnings.

Consolidated net profit in July-September was at Rs 8,243.55 crore compared to a loss of Rs 338.49 crore in the same period a year back, the company said in a statement.

Pre-tax earnings from the downstream oil refining and marketing business came at Rs 11,283.29 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal as compared to a loss of Rs 123.17 crore in the same period last year.
