The Galaxy A05 has silently landed in India. The budget smartphone from Samsung is now listed on popular electronics e-retail website Croma with pricing details, though currently it’s not shipping to majority of PIN codes we tried. Curiously, Samsung is yet to make the Galaxy A05 official, in India at least. The phone’s nowhere to be found on its own website at the time of writing, but a formal announcement could be just around the corner.

Globally, it was launched in September alongside another phone called the Galaxy A05s. The A05s is available officially in India with a starting price of Rs 13,499.

The Croma listing confirms two storage configurations and a total of three colours. The Galaxy A05, as per the listing, comes in silver, black and light green. Samsung Galaxy A05 full specs, features

The Samsung Galaxy A05 is a budget smartphone with a 6.71-inch 720p PLS LCD display, presumably with 60Hz refresh rate and a water drop-style notch at the top. The notch houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

Under the hood, you get the MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. Running the show is Samsung’s One UI Core edition based on Android 13.

The A05 has a dual camera setup on the rear headlined by a 50-megapixel primary shooter paired with another 2-megapixel depth sensor. Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast USB Type-C charging baked in though Samsung does not bundle a charger in the box. A 25W compliant charger from Samsung is available at a price of Rs 1,299 on Croma.
