But if you are still using a device running on Android 7.1, unfortunately, there is bad news for you, as Google may officially end the support for the same with version 2023.46.0-581792699.

On that note, Google’s Android Nougat 7.1 is already quite old, having been released in 2016. If you are still using a phone with the same, it’s likely that your device OEM has already stopped supporting it.

Users will now need to be on Android 8.0 Oreo at least to use Google Calendar, according to the report. This is likely due to security concerns that affect older Android versions, and the issue can be resolved by using a more recent, vulnerability-free version of Android.

This means you can’t use Google Chrome for Android version 120. Ergo, if you want to use the latest and most secure apps, you need to upgrade to a new Android device or make sure you upgrade to the latest available Android version for your device, and that must be at least Android 8.0 or above.
