BLS International Services gets Rs 50-crore contract from UIDAI

BLS International Services said on November 27 that it has received a contract from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), that could generate revenues of around Rs 50 crore for the company.

The contract has been awarded to conduct a comprehensive data quality check for Aadhaar information, the national unique ID project, BLS International said in an exchange filing. The project will last for three years and can be extended for another two.

The objectives of this contract are to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of Aadhaar data, aligning with UIDAI’s requirements. The contract has to be executed within 90 days, as stated in the filing.
