INTERNATIONAL ROAMING ANNUAL PACKS

Jio and Airtel are the only carriers that offer annual international roaming plans, with Vi not having any plans available. Jio’s plan costs Rs 2,799 and includes 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 2GB data, as well as 100 SMS, for a total of 365 days. Airtel, on the other hand, offers a comparable plan with 365 days of validity for Rs 2,997, which includes 100 local, home and incoming minutes, 2GB of data, and 20 SMS. Jio’s plan is the most cost-effective when comparing the costs of these plans.

INTERNATIONAL ROAMING PLANS FOR USA, MEXICO, AND US VIRGIN ISLANDS

Jio and Airtel both have options for a month-long stay. Jio’s 30-day plan costs Rs 3,455 and includes 250 minutes of local and home calls, 25GB of data, and 100 SMS. Airtel, on the other hand, offers 100 minutes of local and calls to India, plus incoming calls per day, 12GB of data, and 20 SMS for the same 30 days at Rs 3,999. Jio stands out by offering 7 times more data, a lower price, and unlimited incoming calls.

If you don’t want to buy the 30-day plans, Jio offers you a 21-day plan that costs Rs 2,555 and provides 250 minutes of local and home calls, 15GB data, 100 SMS, and unlimited incoming calls. Airtel offers a comparable Rs 2,998 plan with 200 minutes of voice calls (local+calls to India+incoming), 5GB data, and 20 SMS, valid for 30 days.

Vi also has plans with a 7-day validity, offering 7GB of data, 120 minutes of voice calls, free incoming calls, and SMS at Rs 15 per SMS.

INTERNATIONAL ROAMING PACK FOR UAE ONLY

With respect to international roaming plans for the United Arab Emirates, Jio offers a plan priced at Rs 898, which provides 100 minutes of local and home calling, 100 incoming call minutes, 1GB of data, and 100 SMS for a validity period of seven days. Airtel offers a comparable plan priced at Rs 899, which includes 1GB of data and 20 SMS for a validity period of seven days. Vi’s plan, priced at Rs 1198, offers 2GB of data and no SMS for a longer validity period of 20 days.

In the upper tier, there is a Rs 1,598 plan by Jio that offers 150 voice minutes, 150 minutes of incoming calls, 3GB data, 100 SMS, and a 14-day validity. The closest plan by Airtel provides 200 minutes of voice calls, including local, calls to India, and incoming calls, 5GB data, 20 SMS, with a 30-day validity. This plan costs Rs 2,998. Vi’s plan, priced at Rs 2,388, gives you 300 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 4GB data, no SMS, and a 40-day validity.
