Xiaomi 14 Ultra Launch Date Confirmed, Coming To More Countries In 2024

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is confirmed for a big launch in 2024 but does that mean we get to see the new model in the Indian market this time around?

Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been confirmed by the company and we also know when and where the new Ultra model will be launching this year. Xiaomi has reserved the previous Ultra iterations to its home market for some reason, but 2024 is going to be different, with the 14 Ultra coming to global markets as well. The Ultra moniker has shown us Xiaomi’s partnership with Leica and what a true deal can do for the companies involved. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be a premium model competing with the Pixels, the Galaxy Ultras and the Pro Maxs of the market.

XIAOMI 14 ULTRA GLOBAL AND CHINA LAUNCH DATE

Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be making its debut in China on February 22 while the global audience will get their first look at the new Ultra device on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) in Barcelona, where we will also see the regular Xiaomi 14 models.

XIAOMI 14 ULTRA DESIGN, FEATURES AND MORE EXPECTED

Xiaomi 14 Ultra should borrow the flagship chipset from the other 14 series models but the cameras are where we will see big upgrades. In terms of the design, expect the brand to offer premium materials and finish. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and come with the new HyperOS version out of the box. Recent leaks of the 14 Ultra hint at a circular camera module where we could see four varied sensors with the trademark Leica-powered engineering.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is likely to feature a 2K AMOLED display, 50MP camera sensor, a 5,000mAh+ battery that could support 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging speeds. Our previous tryst with the Xiaomi Ultras have shown the brand in a different light and with its global launch, the company feels ready to unleash the Ultra in more markets, which hopefully includes India as well.
