Katrina Kaif said that her character was cut from the 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Katrina Kaif has revealed that she was supposed to star in Ranbir Kapoor-led 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno. Katrina said that she was going to feature in the film as Ranbir’s fourth girlfriend, but her character got cut. Bachna Ae Haseeno was the second film in both Deepika and Ranbir’s careers.
Speaking to Midday, Katrina Kaif said, “Bachna Ae Haseeno, I was the fourth girl. That character got cut.” The film revolved around Ranbir Kapoor’s character finding true love in a ‘what goes around comes around’ style after breaking the hearts of three women.
The film featured Minissha Lamba and Bipasha Basu as the women whose hearts are broken by Ranbir. Deepika Padukone played the character with whom Ranbir Kapoor falls in love. Ranbir and Deepika were said to have already started dating around that time.

While Ranbir and Deepika were only seen in their debut films before the Siddharth Anand directorial venture, Katrina already had hits like Partner, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Namastey London in her repertoire. Katrina said that many people had told her that she would not succeed in Bollywood. “I have so many memories of people telling me to my face that you will not make it, you cannot succeed,” she said.
Katrina also spoke about her film with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma called Zero. She expressed that wanted to do Anushka’s role. She also revealed that she was supposed to do a double role in a film called Katrina Meri Jaan.

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan and in Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. She will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara. Deepika Padukone recently reunited with Sidharth Anand for Fighter, also starring Hrithik Roshan. As for Ranbir, he was last seen in Animal and has recently signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
