Patanjali-Ongo Launch Open-Loop Cobranded Prepaid Cards – Details

AGS Transact Technologies Ltd.’s digital payments brand, Ongo, has joined forces with Patanjali Ayurved Ltd., a prominent conglomerate in India, to introduce open-loop Cobranded Prepaid Cards. These cards, operational on the Rupay network across India, offer users a versatile payment option accepted on various platforms.

Users of the Patanjali-Ongo cobranded card will not only earn rewards on purchasing Patanjali products but can also utilize the card for a plethora of transactions, including shopping, dining, fueling, and ecommerce. Moreover, the card features NCMC functionality, facilitating seamless usage for transit services like Metro, Buses, Toll, and Parking nationwide. Customers can enroll for these cards through the Ongo app available on Playstore and App store or by visiting nearby Patanjali stores.

With a PPI license from the RBI, Ongo is empowered to issue open-loop prepaid instruments such as prepaid cards and wallets.
