Northern Railway has announced temporary stoppages and revised timings of various trains.

In an effort to enhance the passenger convenience and operational efficiency, the Northern Railway has announced temporary stoppages and revised timings of various trains. It also informed that the changes are effective immediately for most cases. The decision comes after careful consideration by the railway and is expected to facilitate smoother rail travel experiences.

“It is notified for the information of the general public that for convenience of the rail passengers, temporary stoppage to the following trains shall be provided at various station o­n experimental basis,” the Northern Railway said in a statement. Here’s a detailed look at the changes –

Northern Railway adds temporary stoppage at various stations

  • Train No. 12369/12370 Howrah-Dehradun Kumbha Express will now halt at Bakhtiyarpur station, providing additional convenience for passengers.
  • Similarly, Train No. 19313/19314 Indore-Patna Express will make a temporary stop at Buxar station.
  • Train No. 12333/12334 Howrah-Prayagraj Rambag Bibhuti Express will have a brief halt at Chausa station.
  • The Rajgir-Varanasi Budhpurnima Express (14223/14224) will now stop at Karamnasa station.
  • Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi Express (18309/18310) will temporarily stop at Namkom and Tatisilwai stations.

Northern Railway revised timings of various trains 

  • The timings for various stations along the routes of Howrah-Prayagraj Rambag Bibhuti Express (12333/12334) and other trains have been revised for operational efficiency. Notable changes include adjusted timings at Gahmar, Dildarnagar Junction, Zamania, and more.
  • Train No. 20805 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Express and Train No. 22691 KSR Bengaluru City-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will also witness revised timings at select stations, ensuring smoother operations and improved punctuality.

Rail passengers are advised to check the revised schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.
